His major concern is with efforts to expand the footprint of the global rule of law and the resolution of political conflict emerging from post-colonial boundaries. This starts with an examination of the political dilemma of when truth and reconciliation is appropriate and when international criminal justice is required to solve political crises. (iv) Canadian Public Policy, which focuses on issue-driven approaches to the renewal of national politics and contains some recent articles and speeches.
